Assembled tap wrench

Summary

Machined an adjustable tee-handle tap wrench from mild steel stock to workshop drawings using a lathe and mill. The finished tool is used to hold taps for hand-cutting internal threads.

Overview

A standard mechanical workshop training artefact: starting from stock material, each component is produced on manual machines and then fitted and assembled so the jaws clamp taps securely and the tee-handle provides controlled torque.
